New aerial install Chelmer Village Chelmsford
Don’t be fooled by the clear blue sky and sunshine at this new aerial install Chelmer Village Chelmsfors Essex as it was -6c extremely cold Polar Bear and Penguin weather!
we had to remove the fence between my customer’s property and their Neighbours to enable us to get a more safer angle for the ladders, we put up a Blake DMX5 w/b aerial on a 10ft 1″ 1/2 alloy mast with 12″ T &K wall brackets. If you notice from my pictures you will always see we fit T&K wall brackets at least 6 brick courses down from the top to allow some of the weight of the wall to support our brackets. Its a pet hate of mine to see brackets put right up the top by the roof line where there is no support and eventually the top bricks lift and cause damage to the property.

This School is higher than it looks! We need to put a new aerial on the west side of the school to feed 2 points, the only way to get up to the top was to climb on to the flat roof and put the ladders there to get to the top ledge, which was difficult to climb off the ladder on to the ledge due to the angle of the ladder.

Biggest trouble here was parking! luckily a car moved and I could park my van outside my customer’s house, saving me walking miles with my ladders over my shoulder.
Extremely delicate roof (biscuit tiles, called that as they break so very easily and you spend more time replacing and repairing tiles after the new aerial installation is finished) I put my main ladders up the front of the house to get me up to the 1st lift and then my shorter ladder to the stack which worked very well as I didn’t break one tile!
