TV Aerial Installer Essex

At long last the sun and hot weather is with us, on Tuesday we had a new TV aerial install along with a Sky dish installation, to a newly built house.  All part of being a TV aerial installer Essex.  When we arrived we chatted to our customer’s and listened to their needs, and gave some options and prices.  We noticed upon arrival our customer’s house had a false chimney stack, it looked real but was made of fiberglass, so we could not use it, luckily our customer’s house was detached and had a incredibly high gable end wall, which we suggested fixing the new TV aerials and satellite dish to, which our customer was happy for us to do.  We fetched our large set of ladders from the van and set them up at the top of our customer’s gable end wall.  We used a small pair of T&K wall brackets as they provide outstanding support for the new TV aerial and satellite dish, a great choice of any TV aerial installer Essex.

Once we had the T&K wall brackets perfectly fitted to our customer’s house we attached a log-periodic w/b aerial to an 8ft 1” ½ alloy mast and neatly taped it halfway down the mast.  We assembled a zone 1 Sky-mini dish and attached it to our mast using exhaust clamps.  We received a good digital signal from our log aerial and once we had the dish fitted to the mast between the T&K wall brackets which offers far more strength, and no movement, compared to above the brackets where the mast may sway a little.  We were delighted with our satellite signal, so all we needed to do was wire the L.N.B with a twin shot-gun cable and get the cables from the aerial and satellite into our customer’s house.

We drilled through our customer’s gable end wall using a 14mm drill bit once we had checked inside our customer’s loft it was safe to do so, it’s always best to check just to know there is not a water tank fixed to that wall, it does not take long to check and always worth checking.  We drilled our hole up hill to ensure water will not find its way in and neatly threaded our twin satellite cable and aerial coax cable in to our customer’s loft, once in the loft we stapled our cables across the roof supports until we got to the loft hatch where the house’s cables were.  We connected the twin satellite cables to the sitting room cables and tested them.  We fitted an 8way distribution amplifier and connected our aerial to it, and tested the output of the amplifier to check we had the correct signal strength.  We connected the house’s coax cables to the distribution amplifier and tested the points throughout the house, as a good TV aerial installer Essex we always test every point to ensure the builders cables are working and do not have any faults.  We made our bill and set off to our next call.
