We are passionate about all aspects of our work, and always try to achieve excellence for all our customers. We particularly enjoyed this Saturday’s work as we installed an aerial and cabled it into the loft and ran 3 points off of it, one of which to the sitting room where we wall mounted a TV for customer, which we are extremely proud of.

We originally gave a free quote and advise back in February, and believed our customer had some fantastic ideas on the location of wall mounting their TV, the wall behind the TV was the cupboard under the stairs which was a fantastic place for hiding all the cables, H.D.M.I, power and coax could all be brought in from behind leaving the TV not showing any wiring at all.

It took some working out as there was limited space with the staircase dominating the wall and coming down at an angle. Just to make things even more fun there was the gas feed for the boiler which was fitted in that cupboard. And the icing on the cake was electric cables too which had been wired there to supply the TV, blue ray player, sound system and Sky should they ever want it.

It’s rare I know straight away how I intend starting a job, and enjoy thinking about it, what the pros & cons are for each scenario. I decided to install the aerial and get a good signal 1st allowing me to think how I was to hang the TV on the wall and cable it.
With the aerial up and a new aerial cable run to the cupboard under the stairs I measured the sitting room wall and the highest point of the wall where it met the stairs and decided on a 25mm hole which would allow the H.D.M.I leads to be put through to the TV. The power lead and aerial coax lead were much smaller and were easily pushed through.

I wanted the TV mounted in the centre of the sitting room wall and thankfully it was a 47” which gave us plenty of TV to cover the hole where the cables were coming through the wall to the TV. We secured the TV wall mount bracket to the wall and hung the TV with a fantastic result, a wall mounted TV and no wires to be seen fantastic!
