New Tv Aerial Installation Chelmsford Essex Www.andysaerials.com1st call Tuesday and its for New TV Aerial Installation Chelmsford Essex, when I arrived I was incredibly please to see the 3storie house had a lovely gable end looking bare without an aerial.  I chatted to my customers and they wanted 2 tv points and possibly a 3rd in the future.  We disused fitting an aerial to the gable end of their house and pointed out the height should give a good digital signal.  With the price agreed I took my ladders off of my van and set them up at the gable end of the house.  I wanted to provide a good solid support for their TV aerial so I decided to fix T&K wall brackets on the wall giving outstanding support for the aerial installation for years and years to come.  The T&K wall brackets have 5 fixing points, I marked the top K and with my bosh 24v drill I drilled 3 10mm holes 6 brick courses down from the apex of the gable end, the 6 brick courses are needed to give support to the brackets, I often laugh when I see an aerial installation where the bracket has been fitted at the very top and having no support of the wall at all.  As I intended to use a log-periodic w/b aerial which has no deflector plates and is a light weight head I had no need to space out the brackets too much, so I marked the brickwork once more for the T bracket and again drilled 2 neat 10mm holes for the fixing of the wall bracket.

With the T&K’s now firmly fixed to my customer’s gable end I inserted the 2 large U bolts read to drop the aerial mast into.  I went back down to my van and took out an 8ft 1” ½ alloy mast and secured a Fracarro log-periodic w/b aerial to the shiney 8ft 1” ½ alloy mast, neatly taping the aerial coax cable down the mast I took the aerial along with my spectrum analyser up the 3 floors to the fixings and dropped the aerial into the awaiting large U bolts, pinching up the nuts of the U bolts by finger until the wall brackets supported the aerial, giving me my right arm back to get the aerial coax cable plugged in to my spectrum.  I looked at both Anglia and London and as I always do, I went with the best signal.  I was happy with the signals but splitting it into 2 legs I did not want to loose 4db as a 2way split is minus 4db.  I went with a 2way mast head with a little amplification giving each TV point the perfect signal.

With my aerial and masthead now set-up and ready all I had to do was run 2 cables to 2 TV points and connect a 12v inline power supply unit. I ran the two cables neatly down the gable end cable tieing to my customer’s cable which was running from their satellite receiver to another extra point. I sealed the entry holes with brown silicon and packed away my ladders as the outside work was done.  Once on the inside I ran the now internal cables to the TV’s and fitted the coax plugs and tuned my customer’s TV’s.  As always perfect TV pictures and delighted andysaerials.com customers.
