New aerial installation Great Baddow Chelmsford www.andysaerials.com
What a lovely day to be up on a roof,a clear blue sky and lots of sunshine, a perfect day for a new aerial installation. I Lashed my customer’s chimney stack using a massive eighteen inch chimney cradle, which takes 6/7 brick courses giving incredible strength and support which guarantees their new aerial installation will be there for years and years to come.

Being so close to Crystal Palace (the way the crow flies), I decided to use a Facarro Log-periodic wide band aerial, and fit it to an 8ft inch and a half alloy mast, further giving my new aerial installation outstanding strength. I aligned my aerial using my spectrum analyser so I could tweak my aerial for strength and signal quality. I receive a perfect digital signal for free-view for my customer. Happy with the signal I ran a single cable down the front of my customer’s house to the main sitting room, where their Sky receiver was situated. I connected the aerial coax cable to the Sky box, and then I put in a return uplink form the Sky box to the loft following the aerial cable I had just run.

Once I had the up-link cable in loft I fitted and InfraRed 4 way distribution amp, and then I was able to run the other 3 cables to 2 bedrooms and the kitchen, where I fitted sky-eyes so the sky box could remoted throughout the house, allowing my customers to view and control their Sky box from those rooms. My customers were over the moon with their new viewing locations of sky, and with Free-View at each point too they were over the moon. I packed up and cleared away, wrote my bill and headed home pleased and proud of my work.
