New TV Aerial Chelmsford Essex

Last call Saturday and it’s a new TV aerial Chelmsford Essex, nice and local home is not too far to go.  We had already been and looked at our customer’s aerial system and informed them their aerial in their loft was not performing too well and was the culprit of their breaking pictures and missing channels. We needed access on to our customer’s neighbour’s roof to access the gable end which was the highest point, and offered the most secure fixing with the brickwork.  We took some signal strength and quality readings while up there and was happy to fit the heavy duty T&K wall brackets to site the new TV aerial.

I carried up the wall brackets along with my drill and fixings, very happy with the signal readings our test aerial gave, I drilled the gable end wall and fitted the pair of T&K wall bracket and was delighted with the fix I got.  I fitted the large U’ bolts to the wall bracket ready for the new TV aerial.  We had attached a log-periodic w/b aerial to an 8ft 1” ½ alloy mast ensuring strength and stability for years and years to come.  We aligned the log to Sudbury Anglia which was giving a lovely clean signal on all digital mux’s, it needed a little kick to travel to the distribution amplifier so I fitted a dB w/b masthead pre-amp to ensure the signal arrived at the distribution amplifier perfectly.  I drilled outside in on the gable end, uphill to guarantee no water could ever enter.  With the new TV aerial cable now fitted to the masthead I carefully threaded the aerial cable into the loft and neatly sealed the hole with mastic silicon sealer.

We removed our roof climbing ladder and packed away our triple ladders back on the van, we took our loft ladders in with us, along with the spectrum analyser and a 6way distribution amp to feed the six TV points.  Once in the loft I cut out the mess of splitters and fitted F’ plugs to the aerial coax leads and connected them to the new distribution amp.  I tested the aerials once more to ensure I had my figures right before turning on the new amp.  I tested an output of the distribution amp and was happy with the perfect signal flowing out. All we had left to do was check the outlet points at the TV’s and then pack away and go enjoy the what was left of the weekend.  As always our customers were delighted and grateful of our neat work.  We made our bill and headed home.
